How to use gemini-2.5-pro-preview-06-05 in Cursor?

Today, I noticed a new version of the large model, Google Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-05-06, on the model ranking list. It has surpassed its previous version, Gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25, in various ratings, and the user feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

So, I quickly opened the settings page of Cursor to see if I could select the Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-05-06 version for use, only to find that the Modal list still shows Gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25.

I took a stroll around the Cursor forum and saw a reply saying that simply selecting the Gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25 version would do, and it would automatically update to Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-05-06 later.

Today (5.7) when using Gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25 in Cursor, I found that it is the latest version of Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-05-06.

Found yesterday that the Models list in Cursor settings has a new entry: Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-05-06, and the old Gemini-2.5-pro-exp-03-25 is still there.

I found out today that Gemini-2.5-pro in Cursor's been updated to Gemini-2.5-pro-preview-06-05.
